He specializes in international contract law, contract management, and international arbitration, with an emphasis on the engineering and construction sectors.
He has represented clients in successful international arbitration proceedings under ICC and ICDR rules, obtaining awards or settlements exceeding USD $26 million.

Arbitration Experience

He is a member of the national roster of arbitrators (Construction and Engineering) and the international roster of arbitrators of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, as well as the national roster of arbitrators (Mining and Energy) and the international roster of arbitrators of the Arbitration Center of the Medellín Chamber of Commerce.
He has served in over three dozen cases as co-arbitrator, presiding arbitrator, or sole arbitrator, with amounts in dispute of up to USD $820 million, consolidating an extensive track record.

Teaching and Lectures

He has been a professor of International Contracts and International Arbitration at Universidad del Rosario and CESA.
Additionally, he delivers lectures on the assessment of damages in contractual disputes.
